Are any caravans or lodges designed with accessibility in mind?
Yes, we can work with manufacturers to tailor make a lodge or static caravan to suit your accessibility needs. Some modifications can include wet rooms, wider doors, low profile counters, hoists, ramps and so much more. Let us know what features you require and we’ll help you find the perfect fit.
Are the beds made up?
Bedding is provided in all accommodation (except Camping Pods). Beds are only made in our Luxury Lodge and Cabin ranges.
Are there hire facilities?
The Searles Hire Shop provides essential equipment for families travelling with limited space.

Are we pet friendly?
Yes we’d love to welcome everyone from your family including your dog. We also have designated pet-friendly areas in Ambers Bar & Grill, The Fountain Sports Bar and La Piazza should you wish to dine with your dog. You can also dine with your dog in the Sports Bar at The Pavilion at Heacham Manor Hotel, which is accessible by foot via the golf course. Please refer to Item 26 in the “Park Rules” section of our terms and conditions for further details.
Can I book another holiday before I leave?
Yes, please see one of our helpful reception team, who can check availability and make a booking for you.
Can I bring my pet to the resort?
No pets with the exception of guide dogs are allowed in any accommodation unless specified by prior arrangement in Pet Friendly Homes. Maximum of 2 dogs per pitch/home at any time.
Dog Breeds – We do have a Dog Policy on the resort. We do not accept any dogs restricted by the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 or bred from such dogs, whether or not of the full breed.
Some additional details are also found in our Full T&Cs in the following sections:
27.2.1 As a minimum, each dog has a current annual vaccination for distemper, canine hepatitis, leptospirosis and parvo virus;
30. No other pets are permitted.
Can I buy bottled gas on the resort?
Bottled gas is available in various sizes from our on-site Nisa Supermarket (subject to availability).
Can I buy day passes?
We do not offer day passes for access to the resort. However, we do have a limited number of Annual Family Membership available to purchase. Please enquire.
Can I have a BBQ?
We allow BBQs but only in the designated BBQ areas. If you bring a disposable BBQ, please use it in those areas. Please take particular care when disposing of hot coals or disposable BBQs.
Can I make a group booking?
If you request a group booking (by which we mean a booking for more than one unit or pitch) or a single occupancy booking, then we may contact you before deciding whether to accept the booking, to help us decide whether we are able to provide the holiday experience you are looking for. For this reason, all group or single occupancy bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance.
Can I make changes to my booking?
You may change your holiday dates and accommodation within the present year, no later than 4 weeks prior to arrival and is subject to a £40 amendment fee per booking. Subject to availability.
Can I receive special offers by email?
Simply sign up to receive our special offers by joining our mailing list on our website.
Can I use the facilities whilst waiting for my keys?
Guests staying in accommodation are welcome to make use of our facilities from 2:00 PM on their arrival date. Please report to reception to collect your leisure passes upon arrival.
Can our family and friends come and stay?
Absolutely, Searles Leisure Resort offers something for all ages to enjoy. Your family will enjoy their time here just as much as you. Just remember you must allow them to visit free of charge.
Can we build our own decking?
No. all deckings, patios and storage boxes must be purchased through the resort to keep our 5 star standards. You are allowed to maintain these yourself but if you require an outside contractor to work on your holiday home rather than our maintenance team this must be approved in writing before going ahead.
Can we have a BBQ outside our holiday home?
Yes, as long as it conforms to approved safety standards.
Can we have a washing line outside our holiday home?
Yes we allow rotary washing lines but they must be removed when not in use and the spike installed by Searles.
Can we live in our holiday home all year round?
Searles Leisure Resort holds a holiday license, which means you cannot use your lodge as a primary residence. You can use your lodge as much as you’d like during the season, but you must provide proof of residence at your primary address.
Can you buy to let?
No, for many of our owners, the peace and quiet of Redgate Court is one of the main reasons they chose Searles as a destination. Allowing owners to let their lodges would change the dynamic considerably with different holiday making families arriving each week. For this reason we’ve decided that inviting buy to let investors to the development would be against the best interests of our largest customer group.
Do I have to pay to use the facilities?
Access to our Leisure Complex and Clubhouse is included when you book direct with us. However, there may be some activities and areas where an additional charge may be payable.
Do I need to bring my own bed linen and towels?
All holiday homes have bedding provided (Please note this excludes Sun newspaper holidays). Simply bring your towels and tea towels (Please note towels are provided in our Platinum & Gold Lodges and Platinum Cabins).
Electric Scooters & Hoverboards
Please note that Electric Scooters and Hoverboards are not permitted on the resort or at our sister hotel, Heacham Manor.
How and when can I pay for my holiday?
A deposit is required at time of booking with the remaining balance due 9 weeks prior to your arrival.
You can pay for your holiday with a debit or credit card. You can also pay by cheque, made payable to Searles Leisure Resort.
How can I book my holiday?
Online: Click on the Check Availability link and follow the easy steps through this process. You can go back at any time to check or change your booking during this booking process. Your payment is safe and secure and confirmation of your booking will be sent to you via email.

How do I access Wi-Fi on the resort?
Free Wi-Fi access is available in designated public areas and is subject to speed and download restrictions.
How do we get to the beach?
Hunstanton Beach is easily accessible by foot from several points across the park. Beach access paths are marked on our resort map, with one in our Tent and Touring area and another toward the rear of the Nisa Supermarket.
Please note: Beach access paths are locked over night. Please refer to signage on the gates.

What facilities are there for children?
As a 5* holiday resort the facilities available are second to none with swimming pools, live entertainment and so much more only a short walk from your holiday home. Paired with the Golf Club and sporting facilities you’ll find something for all ages to enjoy.

What is the cancellation charge?
Cancellation Policy Cover:
Travel Insurance/Cancellation cover is a vital aspect to booking a holiday, giving you protection against unforeseen circumstances that could otherwise spoil your holiday. We have arranged a scheme with specialists Travel & General Insurance Services Limited who are fully authorised and regulated by the FCA (Company Reference Number 304788) full details of which can be found on the FCA website www.fca.org.uk. Cancellation Date
More than 64 days: 100% less your deposit
43 – 64 days: 50% of monies paid less deposit
29 – 42 days: 30% of monies less deposit
8 – 28 days: 10% of monies paid less deposit
7 days or less: No refund available
What is the earliest time I can arrive at the resort?
Guests are asked not to arrive at the resort any earlier than 2:00 PM on their arrival date. Please note: your accommodation keys will not be available until 4:30 PM.
What is the latest time I can depart?
You are required to depart your accommodation by 9:30 AM. However, guests are welcome to park in our car park and make use of our facilities until 12:00 PM.
Tent and Touring guests are required to depart from the resort by 11:00 AM.

What’s included in my holiday price?
When joining us during our main season (February Half Term and March-October) you will receive complimentary Leisure and Entertainment passes. Granting you exclusive access to our fantastic array of family-friendly facilities. From November-March we only offer Tent and Touring bookings on a “Pitch and Pool” basis which grant access to our touring faculties and indoor swimming pools. During this period the resort is also utilised for a series of special breaks, both by ourselves and outside promoters. Please enquire for further details on special breaks.
When are the site facilities open?
Searles Country Park benefits from an 11-month season and Searles Leisure Resort a 10-month season, we close for post New Year. The on-site entertainment and dining facilities at the resort are available from March-October. The indoor swimming pools, golf course and Fountain Sports Bar remain open year round (excluding Christmas).
When is my balance due?
The full balance of your holiday is due 9-weeks ahead of your arrival date.
Where are we in Hunstanton?
Your holiday home would be just on the outskirts of Hunstanton overlooking a picturesque coastal golf course. Approximately 1 mile from Hunstanton town centre.
Where can I hire a mobility scooter?
Hunstanton Mobility offer a service where they will deliver a mobility scooter directly to the resort to guests that wish to hire one. It is recommended you book in advance of your stay to ensure they have a suitable scooter available for you. Hire includes everything you might need such as covers, chargers and extension cables. If you’d like to hire a mobility scooter from Hunstanton Mobility call or text Michael on 07939 233 205.
Where do I find directions to the resort?
Searles Leisure Resort is located on South Beach Road, Hunstanton, PE36 5BB.
Upon approaching the resort take the first left turn after the “Tesco” roundabout to access the resort. From there head towards our ANPR barrier to grant access to the resort. You may need to call on the intercom if the barrier does not raise. Our reception is located approximately 200 meters from the entrance barrier.

Where do we have our half-board meals?
Ambers Bar & Grill
Located in the main clubhouse. Buffet breakfast is served in Ambers daily from 8:30 – 11:00 AM . Evening meals can be enjoyed in Ambers between 5:00 – 8:45 PM.
The Fountain Sports Bar and Restaurant
Located at the edge of our golf course. Enjoy evening dining at The Fountain Sports Bar and Restaurant. Featuring a dog friendly dining area this is a popular location to dine with your doggy.

Will travel cots fit in the bedrooms?
Travel cots do not fit into the bedrooms of our holiday homes and will need to stand in the lounge area.
